Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American comedian and actress is also known as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after immigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actress. She is best known for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020). In addition to her commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had a regular role in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice for Squirrel girl in Marvel Rising since 2018, after being cast in the television pilot that has not yet aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. At the age of two She and her parents moved to the U.S. as refugees to avoid antisemitism and settled in West Hollywood. Due to her family's financial difficulties and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she dropped out and got an GED. She went on however to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and was a student of the art of improv comedy.
